“Sanskaras are the beginning of our spiritual life and the gateway into Dharma. They hold a primary place among the rites of initiation. Through sanskaras, a person is purified from faults and sins and attains a renewed spiritual life. One comes to see oneself as a part of the Divine, becomes connected to Dharma, finds a place in society, and participates in righteous actions. As stated in the Bhagavad Gita, a person should strive for spiritual growth and purification through their actions.”
